I think you will be able to do a delete volume discarddata=yes, then the
data will be recreated next time the primary pool is backed up to the
copypool.

Subject: Restoring a lost copypool volume ?

Hi all

I have just had a call from our off-site copypool storage location to
say
that they have mistakenly popped one of my tape into their library and
somehow initialised it (don't ask, I'm pretty cross at the moment).

Anyway, I understand that the data on this missing volume can be
transferred onto a new volume from the on-site tapepool, but how do I go
about this? I assumed I would mark the lost volume as destroyed, but
looking at the Admin guide I don't think I can update a volume to
destroyed
unless it is part of a primary pool? Can someone point me in the right
direction here?

Many thanks
