select 'THEWANTEDCLASS' from db where exists (select 1 from backups where
class_name='THEWANTEDCLASS')
or
select CLASS_NAME,count(*) from backups group by CLASS_NAME
Be careful, the former is fast and the latter is putting heavy burden on
the server. Instead of running the latter in attempt to get the picture of
all classes, just do it one-by-one.

Subject: [ADSM-L] Backups using copygroup?
Hi Team,
I'm looking for a select statement which asks 'have any files used <this>
copygroup to determine the retention period?'
Is this possible?
Many Thanks,
Matthew
