Hi Everyone !
Does enyone know what is the different in performance ( on a

basis for example) for parameter VALIDATEPROTOCOL=yes and
VALIDATEPROTOCOL=dataonly for node settings ?
What are practical issue to use it ?

IBM Technote 1153107 makes clear that VALIdateprotocol is expensive
to use
in general. Whereas data is the volume-dominant part of the client-
server
interaction, I doubt that going the extra step to VALIdateprotocol=All
could make it much more expensive.
The TSM 5.1 Technical Guide redbook and Technotes 1113590 and 1116431
illustrate where it has value.
