See client manual topic "Restore or retrieve files to another
workstation".
Make sure that the receiving system supports the same file system
type as
represented in the backed up data.

Can someone please help me with the syntax?

/usr/bin/dsmc -user=administrator -pass=administratorpassword restore
-pitdate=05/16/2005 -subdir=yes /usr/data/files/* /usr/restorearea/

I know I am missing the system names in there... what else?

TIA ... jack
