We have a W2K / 2K3 server running a bastardized MS-SQL via the MSDE (I am
not a Windoze expert so I do not fully understand).

The Windows person installed the 5.2.x version of the SQL TDP.

However, when they run the TDP GUI, it does not find/recognize the SQL
server !

customized (they told me they tried to install SP3 for MS-SQL but it too
would not install!).

Any suggestions on how to get this to work ?
