Hi all.

I've got an odd problem. It seems that my barcode label and the actual
tape label disagree:

02/01/2005 07:38:47 ANR8356E Incorrect volume 000049L2 was mounted
instead of volume 000054L2 in library 3581. (SESSION: 5177, PROCESS: 88)

02/01/2005 07:39:53 ANR8356E Incorrect volume 000056L2 was mounted
instead of volume 000055L2 in library 3581. (SESSION: 5177, PROCESS: 88)

This happens on two tapes in my library. The unfortunate side of this is
that volume 000049L2 and 000056L2 have archive data on it so I need to
proceed carefully. I'm guessing that the two tapes in my safe that are
barcoded as 000049L2 and 000056L2 are actually tapes 54 and 55.

What's the best way to procede to resolve this? I'm not putting the
tapes that I currently have in the safe in the library until I'm sure
what the right path is to take.

Maybe I can manually update the database with a few sql statements? Is
there a non-destructive way to replace the labels on tape?

Thanks in advance!
