Thank you for the response.  I will inquire as to the contents of the log
files.

No, this is not the last database to backup.  A usual weekend backup is >
400GB.  This backup run quit around 100GB !

5.3 will not address this issue. The information is displayed in the TDP
log
and the console. It is strange that the backup stopped after a database
backup
failed. The TDP is designed to continue to the next database. (Could it be
that the failure occurred on the last database to backup?).
