The GUI and CLI are not 100% functionally equivalent. There are some
things you can do only from one that you cannot do in the other.

In this case, though, you can select the Edit/Find menu item in the GUI to
locate files by backup date. When the little "Find Files (Restore)" dialog
pops up, click on the "Select Date" button to the right of the "Backed up"
label. In the "Modified" (yes, I know that label name doesn't make sense)
box, select "After date 1". In the "First Date" boxes, enter your "From
data" criteria. Click "OK", then "Search". This will give you a list of
files backed up after the date you specified.

Note that unless you are restoring only a small handful of files, I
recommend using the CLI.

The only dumb question is the one that goes unasked.
The command line is your friend.
"Good enough" is the enemy of excellence.
