We wait to hear from our dba that backups are running too long.
Lan-free vs lan backups make a very noticable difference in their backup
times.

Hello All!
TSM 5.2.2.5 server AIX 5.2
Sun Solaris Lan-Free client 5.2.2.5
Once the lan-free data transfer fails it is stated that you must
recycle
the storage agent. I was just wondering what everyone has in place to
accomplish this once lan-free has failed? Do you look at the system
every
1/2 hour to see if the storage agent is running or do you try to trap
a
certain message and then recycle the storage agent? Any suggestions
would
be appreciated. Thank you!
