Hi,

I'm running TSM server 5.2.3 on an HP DL380 (Dual 3.2Ghz) with RedHat AS 3.0. What I'm finding is that no matter what load I put on the machine, TSM will not use more than 49.9% of the available CPU, even when there are idle cycles to be had...

Here's a typical "top"

09:10:09 up 6 days, 21:12, 5 users, load average: 9.80, 9.09, 8.64
124 processes: 122 sleeping, 2 running, 0 zombie, 0 stopped

Looking at threads we see that there are dsmserv threads on both CPUs, so it's not that dsmserv is "camped out" on one CPU....

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks
