I haven't used it for a long time, but I remember there is special requirements
for backup copy group values and for client node settings. I think it is Backup
delete allowed=yes, but everything is in the manual.
You cannot escape this; YOU HAVE TO READ THE MANUAL.
If this doesn't help try tech. support. I called them couple of times; not bad.
