Due to recent problems with Domino, and the lack of any upgrades/updates
to the Domino TDP client (almost 2-years now since the last update to the
WIN32 client), the powers that be have asked me to start investigating
into replacement backup systems for our Lotus Notes Domino servers.

Besides the lack of updates to the TDP (especially since we have
experienced a problem that is documented and has not been
fixed/addressed), one major gripe is the issue of our weekly reorgs that
change the dbid, thus forcing a complete backup of everything.

One product I saw that says they addressed this issue is the UPSTREAM
product by Innovation Data Processing.

I was wondering if anyone on this list has done such an
investigation/analysis and can give me a list of which products you have
looked at and why you either picked or ignored them ! Perhaps you are
using TSM for everything else besides Domino backups ?
