The look and feel of the GUI has changed, most of my scripts won't work now so 
I have just begun to dig into what changes have disabled them and the SA's 
indicated that there is new reporting functionality built into this latest 
patch (but as of yet I've been unable to find what that is).

5.2 is the latest version published. Try the READMEs that came with the
maintenance level and patch downloads. (What modifications are obvious?)
