passwordaccess generate ??? You can access dsmc but the instant the client has
to query the server you will be prompted. I would check the password
configuration you have set for that client. If this confuses you there is a
lot of information on the web concerning this issue and in the manual. I know
because I just dealt with it 2 days ago.

Subject: login/set access/ ovell
Hello All,
Last night one of our Novell servers had DSMC.NLM waiting for a login
to
the Tivoli server. I unloaded DSMC and reloaded it.
It did not prompt me for a login: however when I typed query session
I did have to login. Can anyone give me any help for these symptoms?
More info:
If I type "query access" it shows the results of the command
we ran the two day's ago "set access and the file". This is despite
the server having since been rebooted w/o changing the dsm.opt.
So are the results of the set access command must be stored on the
Tivoli server?
the command "delete access" I typed in to remove this access.
What are we doing wrong with the Set Access command that is preventing
the DSMC from logging in to the Server? Or is it someting else?
Can anyone help me with this? any advice?
Thanks
