I have MSE 9.1 (just upgraded from 8.0) on AIX 4.3.3 with
TSM API 5.1. TSM server is 4.2, upgrading this week to 5.2.2!

Have been doing backups to TSM for sometime - and restores also.
There is some small doc from MSE (McKesson/HBOC) on how to do
this. Basically it describes how to setup Management classes on TSM
server, they have to be specific name for FULL, INCREMENTAL and
JOURNAL backups of MSE.

I assume you are doing backups directly to local tape now?
The command line you use will be the same (maybe one change or so),
the doc from vendor will explain.

Hope this helps,

Hi,

Our Environment :-

TSM Server 5.2.2.5 on AIX 5.2

TSM Client/API V 5.2 on HPUX 11i

MUMPS Database MSE Release 8.0

We want to configure online backup of MUMPS Database MSE Release 8.0
using TSM client/API Ver 5.2

Is there anybody using TSM API V5.x to backup MUMPS Database MSE Release
8.0

Where can I find documentation on configuring online backup of MUMPS
Database MSE Release 8.0 using TSM API V5.2 ?

Regards

Rane
