I've just been requested to start backing up a Win2000 with an oracle DB (PeopleSoft) on it.  The only thing I need to include in the backup is a flat file of the DB.   If something happens to the server, I've been told it will be restored by the company that brought it in.  Do any of you have any experience with this?

I did find this problem on the IBM site--> The large_send option is a network interface card setting. Problems have been attributed to this option being set to yes.

I have passed that on to the network guys to check out.

My biggest problem that I cannot find reference to is what excludes/includes would I use.  I think I only want to back up one directory;  c:/oracle/backup and exclude everything else. Anyone have any ideas?  Thanks in advance!

TSM Server 5.1.7 MVS OS/390 2.10  ---->soon to be moving to ZOS
TSM Client Win2000 5.1.6.0
