Hi,
Our config is :
TSM version 5.2.0.0 on Win2000, SP3.
TSM BA Client version 5.2.2.0
TSM TDP for MS SQL version 5.2.1.0

I'm trying to configure TSM TDP SQL on a cluster with two nodes. It has
worked for a different cluster but this one fails and my problem surfaces as
a password authentication problem.

The cluster is configured as follows:
Node 1 : FUNDTCLR01
Node 1 : FUNDTCLR02
Cluster name : FUNDTCLR
SQL server name : FUNDTSQL

On both nodes the dsm.opt file in folder C:\Program
Files\Tivoli\TSM\baclient, contains :
        PASSWORDACCESS GENERATE
        TCPSERVERADDRESS 10.0.5.1

On both nodes the dsm.opt file in folder C:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\tdpsql,
contains :

        NODename FUNDTSQL
        CLUSTERnode YES
        PASSWORDAccess Generate

        COMMMethod TCPip
        TCPServeraddress 10.0.5.1
        TCPPort 1500
        TCPWindowsize 63
        TCPBuffSize 32

On both nodes the tdpsql.cfg file in folder C:\Program
Files\Tivoli\TSM\tdpsql, contains :

        BUFFers 3
        BUFFERSIze 1024
        FROMSQLserver FUNDTCLR
        SQLAUTHentication INTegrated
        SQLBUFFers 0
        SQLBUFFERSIze 1024
        SQLSERVer FUNDTSQL
        STRIPes 2

I have followed the procedure to set up a scheduler (again on both nodes)
with the following utility:

dsmcutil inst /name:"TSM TDPSQL Scheduler" /node:fundtsql /password:xxxxx
/autostart:yes /clientdir:"c:\progra~1\tivoli\tsm\baclient"
/optfile:"c:\progra~1\tivoli\tsm\tdpsql\dsm.opt" /startnow:no

When I try to backup using tdpsqlc it returns with a password authentication
error. Note that I have installed and removed the scheduler a number of
times and I suspect that there may be something in the registry that is not
removed correctly.
I don't know regedit very well and I don't want to mess with it.

Can somebody take the time and check if my options and config files are
correct ?
If so, what could I check in the registry to see if it's setup correctly?

Thanks in advance
Yiannakis
