I have three tape cartridges that are about 3 years old and they all had
their leader pins torn off in the same week. I have never seen this
happen before.
The cartridges are Fujifilm LTO-1 which are usually the best of the
brands I have tried.
Around the same time my tape library (ADIC Scalar 1000) had an
unexpected reboot.
I am wondering if maybe one of these events caused the other.
