Refer to HTTPSPORT in the client installation and user's guide. The default
is 0 which is disabled.

You sniffed the Web Admin GUI.  That's running on http:// and not https://.
Only https:// encrypts all traffic.
I don't undertand why the admin web GUI does not run from an https server so
the traffic is encrypted.  It's not that hard to implement.
