There are no utilities for converting backed-up data from any
manufacturer's format to another. (There's no money in it, and if there
were, the first service pack from one manufacturer or the other would
most certainly invalidate such an application.)

Your best bet is to have both the old and new systems online. Use the
old system for restores, and divert all backups to the new system.
Eventually the data from the old system will expire and fall away. For
long-term storage (such as archives), your best bet is to restore from
the old system to a staging server and re-archive with the new system.

(This is a strong argument for picking the right backup system--and
hardware--to start with. But then, hey! I'm preaching to the choir,
aren't I?)
