Also make sure your Event Record Retention Period: is set to more than 14 
days... We have our at 32 to catch a full month.

We have TSM 5.1.6.2 on Solaris 2.8.  I am trying to collect the backup
history
attempts for my clients. I have my activity log stored for 14 days. Most of
my backups are
scheduled but some are scripted from the client side. also we have
randomization enabled.
What would be the most appropriate way to collect data on backups
attempted/succeeded.
