Last week I had a large restore that, naturally, required cartridges on the
shelf. Usual procedure kicked in, which is to check the volume needed if a
MEDIAWAIT goes for more than a few minutes. After some hours, the restore
went into RecvW and after some more time apparently finished.
But the RecvW was for a volume still on the shelf. A check of the log
showed that there was a timeout on that volume that caused the restore to
be incomplete. So why did the session never show up as MediaW? It looks
like there was a spanned file between the two volumes, but it then appears,
to me, like an error.
