Unfortunately, no.  In the early days of the product such a feature just
didn't get implemented; and since it became an enterprise type product,
the presumption is that you would by definition always have all needed tapes
available in your library anyway.  If you need more hardware to achieve that,
there's a familiar company awaiting your order.  :-)  Ref: "Restoral preview"
