I have generated a backupset to a manual cd burner.  It takes a long time.

I think what you are seeing in the error message is that TSM wants two mount
points, one for the incoming media and one for the outgoing media.

If you have enough disk space, try generating a sequential backupset to 
files.  If that works, possibly someone else has a suggestion on how to 
get it to tape in a reasonable way so a TSM server or client can underatand
it.

Just some thoughts.
