Hi

Apollogies ,but if any one can gimme some inputs .

I am trying to implement NTP Client on Aix.

Have made the necessary entries in ntp.conf

broadcastclient
driftfile /etc/ntp.drift
tracefile /etc/ntp.trace
server XX.XX.XX.XX

And have restarted the NTP subsystem.but still ,if i try an ntp trace.

loopback: stratum 16, offset 0.000964, synch distance 1.01869
0.0.0.0:        *Timeout*

This obviously means its not reaching the NTP server.

Could any one recomend any more actions.
