Hi,
we tested a migrate install from w2k --> w2k3 using TSM 5.2. The upgrade itself
was no problem, tsm started without any problems.
We had to go and reconfigure all devices though because w2k3 uses different LTO
drivers (our environment).
You have to install the drivers through the w2k3 devices mmc and not the tsm
mmc.
We succesfully tested the upgrade through a backup db devc=file than a restore
onto the new setup of w2k3.
Best Regards

hello,
we would like to upgrade our tsm server os from w2k to windows 2003.
which is the recommended way to do this?
new installation of windows 2003, tsm software, drivers and taking over
the original dbvols and logvols?
or
migrate w2k to 2003 without take care of existing tsm server
application?
what about upgrade the tsm server os from nt to w2k, we would like to have
all tsm servers running on version 5.2.
any experiences will help.
thank you.
with best regards
