Turn accounting on and look for dsmaccnt.log in the same directory as the TSM
server executable.

The bonus is that it's ready to drop into a spreadsheet.

I have been banging my head againist the wall for monthes now because I
can't get the stats from the TSM server on how the client nodes have
done
        each night.

Each night, every node writes the following chunk of code to the
schedule
        log:

Total number of objects inspected: 802,019
Total number of objects backed up: 43,021
Total number of objects updated: 0
Total number of objects rebound: 0
Total number of objects deleted: 0
Total number of objects expired: 119
Total number of objects failed: 1
Total number of bytes transferred: 3.02 GB
        Data transfer time: 145.02 sec
Network data transfer rate: 21,870.55 KB/sec
Aggregate data transfer rate: 392.97 KB/sec
        Objects compressed by: 0%
        Elapsed processing time: 02:14:30

Does this info get saved to the TSM Server? and if so what query works
to
        get that info?
I have tried several queries looking at most of the tables on the TSM
        server. I am looking for
the total inspected, total backed up, and bytes transfered on a daily
basis.
        Can someone PLEASE!!! help.
