Re: Using Sun dds4 drive with tsm

Hi,
I have two Sun E250s with dds4 drives. I had tried to use the sun driver with
tsm but tsm did
not like it and was forced to use IBMs driver (the tape would not get mounted).
I have not had the need to do a bare restore but have been able to use the ibm
driver with
ufsdump. I use the dds4 drives and tsm server 5 to backup up the servers and
then backup
the database across the network to two different hard drives.
