Just to make sure: Presuming that the library network card is rated for 100
Mbps,
be sure to use a cable rated for that speed (which also implies a reasonable
length).
Excessive errors *might* cause a lesser network card to lock up, or a
router/switch
to consider the runt incommunicado.
It would be worth having your network people look at the problem, to gain some
insight. If the problem points to the library network card, have the CE deal
with
the problem - buttressed by the info gathered by your network people.
