Depends. :->

- SCSI attached to AIX, you don't have to shutdown TSM. Only end tape
operations, put drives off-line and reboot the library;
- SAN based, library path on SCSI drive behind SDG. Same as above;
- SAN based, library path on fiber drive, TSM on windows. Reboot library,
SAN and windows.

Thanks for your response. I'll schedule a library reboot :-(

Did you just shutdown TSM Server, reboot library , restart TSM Server?
