No, you must bring it back onsite and make it readwrite before you can do an
audit. An audit physically reads a tape to verify data integrity. You can't
do that without bringing a tape back onsite and mounting it.

I have a volume in my copypool that is a problem
it is access=offsite
location=vault
it will not reclaim and if I try to delete it, it say it is empty offsite
and can not be delete
I know that there is a way to Audit this volume while it is still offsite
how do I do that?
