With Windows XP/2003, Microsoft stopped shipping their own JVM in favor
of Sun's JVM. Windows 2000 still had Microsoft's JVM.

Try downloading and installing the Microsoft JVM (look for "msjavx86.exe"
on Google) and enabling it in your browser.
