Hi Geoff,
In addition to René's queries, you could give "show version" command a try ! It
will show you all files backed up inside a filespace, when they whent backuped,
with which management class, if they're active etc ....
Syntax is like this "show version NODE_NAME FILESPACE_NAME" (for old TSM server
version) or "show version NODE_NAME XX nametype=fsid" XX beeing the filespace
number found when issuing "q fi" (for TSM version >5).
Concerning the growth of your SAP data, keep an eye on DB logs : maybe they
where'nt deleted since a while ... (not sure if what I say makes sense when
using TDP for SAP, but we had the problem while backuping our Informix DB's :
the logs where not expired automatically ...)
Good fishing !
Arnaud

Subject: SAP data
TSM Server AIX 4.3.3
TSM 5.1.6.3
Since we started running SAP R/3 backups the amount of data has continued to
grow enormously. Being that those folks have asked me to set up a number of
management classes for them it could be each of these are bound to different
classes, or God forbid the same one.
Is there a SQL query that will tell me what management classes this data is
bound to? I'm a little concerned, with one node at 30TB and climbing and the
other at 8TB, they could all be going to the wrong management class.
Thanks,
Geoff Gill
