Zlatko has a good point, but it could be worth considering for your
disaster vault, if it's not quite as clean as your machine room. Places
like vaults can get dusty after a while.

For example, keep tapes in the vault a max of say 3 years. Clean them with
a gadget like this every year.

It saves on tape reclaim, but it (hopefully) means your DR copies are
readable.
