Yes, there are two ways:
- delete the exclude statement from the option file (the only one that
works)!!!!
- perform selective backup - be aware that on next incremental your
backups will be marked as inactive and will expire according to retention
settings.
The choice is yours.

Hi guys,
I would like to backup a directory that is excluded in the client option
file with exclude.dir option.

I don't want to change the option file. Is there anyway to backup this
directory from the command line?

I am running TSM client 5.1.5 on AIX server
