Hi Markus,
The TSM device driver for Windows 2003 is a new device driver and different
from the previous driver for Win2K and NT. It is a plug and play driver and
you won't be able to control it through the TSM MC. You will have to
configure the library through the device manager first. The details are
documented in the manual. But basically, you will have to update driver and
choose the TSM device driver as the driver for your library. After
configuring the device, you can verify that the library is controlled by
the TSM device driver by looking at the properties of the library. The
driver file should be "tsmscsi.sys".

Hi all,
I'm testing a W2k3 TSM 5.2.0.1 server, FC attached Adic100 with LTO1
drives.
The library and drives are defined to the OS, but the library should be
controlled by the TSM SCSI driver and the drives by the IBM LTO
device driver for windows 2003.
Now to my problem, in the mmc the device driver is always in a stopped
state,
and when I try to start it I get the following error:
Unable to start the TSM Device Driver:
Reason: The specified service does not exist as an installed service
Has anyone seen this too?
TIA
Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best Regards
Markus Veit
