The message directs to Appendix D but actually some info is in Appendix C.
In section "Common values for ASC and ASCQ codes" you can find:
0x4B  0x00  Data phase error

This confirms you have problems reading the data. I would bet when you
installed the windoze you have forgotten that little MAXSGLIST thingy for
the FC HBA.

This is what I get when using DRM to restore my database.
My version of TSM is no longer supported, and it works when done from a
base install, but I am having trouble getting it to restore the database
from
a tape.

The library and drive seem to work OK otherwise.  And I can't seem to
determine what kind of error that the drive is saying it is having (other
than a read error).  But this is the second DB backup tape it could not
read.

Suggestions?
