Selective Backup of the D: drive on a NT4 SP6a machine running TSM
Client 4.1.2.12 with nodename apimage2

Newer machine, W2K SP4 running TSM Client 5.1.5 . Commandeered nodename
apimage2. Trying to restore the D: drive contents.

TSM uses the System account, and we're logged using a local admin
account when trying to run a restore from the desktop client interface.

Two major error conditions.

In the client dsmerror.log, with no corresponding error code:

08/04/2003 16:28:56 The 1485861th code was found to be out of sequence.
The code (3584) was greater than (3418), the next available slot in the
string table.
08/04/2003 16:28:56 The 1485877th code was found to be out of sequence.
The code (3840) was greater than (3434), the next available slot in the
string table.
08/04/2003 16:28:56 The 1485924th code was found to be out of sequence.

Keeps on until : 08/04/2003 18:00:39 The 1492540th code was found to be
out of sequence.
The code (298) was greater than (292), the next available slot in the
string table.

A second restore attempt (the next day) resulted in the following:

The last correspond to ANE4007E messages (access to the object is
denied) on the TSM Server, yet the accounts used should prevent that.

TSM server level is 4.1.4.2 on OS/390

Any insight appreciated.
