It's probably a syntax issue, so I'm trolling for suggestions. Fromnode
is AIX 4.3.3 w/TSM 4.2.2, tonode is AIX 5.1 w/TSM 5.1.6

Here's the set access query from the FROM node:

tsm> q access
Type     Node        User        Path
----     ----------------------------
Archive  CATAWBA     *           *
Archive  CATAWBA     *           /ora02/oradata/prd1/*

We're trying to get the file temp01.dbf from the above path.
# ls -al /ora02/oradata/prd1/*
-rw-r-----   1 oracle   dba      262148096 Jul 08 08:32
/ora02/oradata/prd1/temp01.dbf

Here's the syntax from the retrieve command on Catawba and accompanying
msgs:

tsm> retrieve -fromnode=newriver newriver/ora02/oradata/prd1/temp01.dbf
/ora02/oradata/prd1/temp01.dbf
Retrieve function invoked.

ANS1302E No objects on server match query

So, where are we going wrong?
