Hi Tae!
What the Disaster Recovery manual says is that you need to install ALL
changes you have done with the system.
For ex.
Have you install a Service Pack or fixes on your system. Install them first
before you start the restore of your machine.
If you also have installed any Open File Modules or another software who
goes very deep in the system should you also install before you run the
system restore.
That´s way Tivoli got 3rd part software who fix that for you.
Ex on software you can use.

Hi guys, just wanted to be clear on restoring a win2k server.
On the documentation it says that
1. reinstall w2k
2. install same service pack
3. same computer name and proper network driver
4. install tsm client
5. restore c
6. restore system objects
How about the security patches and other hot fixes that Microsoft sends
out? Do they need to be installed as well before restoring from TSM?
TIA
Tae
