Nobody has replied yet, I have some experience but not 64 bit
AIX5.1 or Oracle 9.2. But, have you tried running
"tdpoconf showenv" on system that doesn't work and see if output
looks normal? If it doesn't, most likely need to correct config.
Also look at TDPO log files on client for more info.

Hi All;
We are encountering "issues" while attempting to get our Oracle 920 databases
to backup to a TSM 5162 server using a TSM 5158 API client, TDP 515, AIX 513 w/
64 bit kernal. Also, we had no previous trouble getting the 920 databases to
backup using a 32 bit kernal on AIX513.
FYI...our Oracle 816/817 database backups are working perfectly fine in the 64
bit environment. And the DBA's have run a "make" on the 920 database as well
as relinked it....to no avail though.
I have the 9i "libobk.a" file linked to
/usr/tivoli/tsm/client/oracle/bin64/libobk64.a - but not matter what we do we
cannot get this backup to work.
The error is always the same:
