Hello readers everywhere:

Each night I run a backup of an SQL server
On this server I have an 'off-line' databases called Bob (I know it is case
sensitive)
I have added the following to the dsm.opt for the TDP:
EXCLUDE "\...\Bob\...\*"

The issue is that when the backup runs (using this dsm.opt file) the backup
gives an RC 402 message.
I find the following in the sqlfull.log:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
06/26/2003 01:31:31 Request : FULL BACKUP

My findings so far it that the exclude statement I have used in the dsm.opt
works if the database is on-line. It is only if the database is off-line
that I get this message.

Does anyone out there know how to exclude an off-line database from backup?

Regards,
