See the IBM redbook SG24-6141: "Deploying the Tivoli Storage Manager
Client in a Windows 2000 Environment". You can find this at
http://www.redbooks.ibm.com; do a search on SG246141 to locate the book.
One of the chapters includes a section on restore of individual system
objects, including the registry. Another chapter talks about the backup of
system objects, including a discussion on the \ADSM.SYS directory, which
is where some system object data (including registry) is staged before
being sent to the server.

The only dumb question is the one that goes unasked.
The command line is your friend.
"Good enough" is the enemy of excellence.

Subject: System State Backup
Hi Everyone!
I was talk to a NetBackup consulting about diffrent Disaster Recovery
seminarium.
And he told me that. When NetBackup runs a System State backup, NetBackup
also make a offline copy of the registry to %System NT Dir%
\System32\RegBack or a look a like path.
Is TSM does the same thing?
And how is TSM restore that registry in Safe Command Line mode?????
Best Regard / Med vänlig hälsning
