The skipping of individual files during incremental backup is not treated
as "Failed" by TSM. For a prior explanation of why this is, see
http://msgs.adsm.org/cgi-bin/get/adsm9903/162.html.
Starting in version 5.1, the client provides the general completion status
of "Complete" or "Failed", along with a return (result) code for the
operation. See the 5.1 client manual chapter on "Automating Tasks" for an
explanation of the return codes, but in brief, the return code allows you
to distinguish between an operation that completed with no skipped files
versus an operation that completed with one or more skipped files.
