Hi TSM'ers-

Our unix team was recently told by EMC that you can not mount EMC BCV's back
to the production host for TSM client backup, due to limitations of veritas
file system and BCV's. So the recommended solution is to procure a separate
'backup machine' for mounting the BCV's for backup.

Just out of curiousity....what are you using for this solution?

Clients:
Solaris 2.6 and 2.8
EMC Timefinder / Symmetrix
Lan-Free not an option due to zoning-
Gigabit likely-

TSM Server 5.1.6.3 on AIX 5.1

Cheers,

John
