Hi,

I have TSM 5.1 server & client with Informix version 7.31 FD2X1 and TDP for
Informix 4.1. I have following entry in my sm_version.

#1|1.0.1|ism|1|
1|5.1.0|adsm|5

The first line is default and second line, I have entered. It works perfect.
Please ensure you have made an entry in bar_version table on Informix.

A quickie one for those using TDP for Informix, in conjunction with newest
versions of informix (> 7.31 UC5).
It seems the content of this file is now slightly different from what it was
before, and should be filled like (extract from sm_versions.std) :

# For each Storage Manager application, add a row with the format:
#
# 1|<XBSA version>|<Storage Manager name>|<Storage Manager version>
#
#       where   <XBSA version> is the release version of the XBSA
#                               shared library,
#               <Storage Manager name> is the name of this Storage Manager,
and
#               <Storage Manager version> is the version of the Storage
Manager
#                               application.

Question is : where do I find that <XBSA version> ? Before it was TSM API
version, but now ??
Same question with <dstorage manager version> : is it TSM client or server
version ?
Last question : whats the use of this data, is it really important to fill
those fields properly to have backups and restore working right ?
