Hi Trigge,
I could not found better solutions for similar problems as well.
Andy, maybe any plans out there to allow cloptsets for modularity,
like it currently works with .OPT files which can include another .OPT
files?

Direction required.

Currently I have a client option set configured for several AIX servers to
backup at a file level. The option set currently has an exclude of:

exclude u*/.../*.dbf (this is how the server was handed to me)

I have now been asked to backup files on a single "u" volume of a single
server, including the dbf files. I cannot add the include to the servers
include/exclude file as it is parsed after the option set and files in the
particular volume with a dbf extension will already be excluded.

Where do I go from here? I think I have several options:
1. Create a new option set for a single server (to me this sounds silly)
2. Remove the server from the option set and add the options in the option
set to the local server (there are only really include/excludes in the
current option set)
3. Somehow find a way to target the volume I require to be backed up on the
particular server in question (something like "include
servername:/u4/.../*.dbf" - I have tried this but doing a "q inclexcl" on
the client shows this line as "Incl All /.../servername:/u4/.../*
Server")

Are these my only options? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Regards,
