See the client manual chapter on "Automating Tasks".

I would have to see the entire dsmsched.log and dsmerror.log entries for
this backup instance in order to answer this more specifically.

On a windows2000 client with TSM 5.1.5.15 the server reports the backup as
Failed with a return code of 12. The backup completes and the log shows 4
objects failed. I have seen this a few times with this new client. I know
this was a known bug but I thought this was fixed and should report
completed.



Anyone else seen this? What is return code 12 mean?
