You can get information on SELECT and how the parameters work from any SQL
book in your local library.

Don't go buy a big SQL book;  SQL has many commands, but the only one
implemented for TSM is "SELECT".

And talk to your local Data Base Administrator, they may have a book you can
borrow, and they can be a big help getting you started.

(I know , I  married a DBA  - but that solution is probably too extreme for
most people! ;>)

I have been down this road.  There is no publication with what you are
looking for.  As mentioned previously, the HELP option and Admin guide is
the best your going to get.  You will have to look at each table and the
columns associated with the tables.  Then create your own SQL statements.  I
took me a while, but this is the path I took.  And actually the research
doing this has made my administration faster and more detailed.

But I need to go realy, realy deep in the SQL92/SQL93 select commands and
understand exactly how everything work.
I want to be a expert on all select statement.
What I searching for is a documentation who explain each parametar what is
does and what you can do with it way you use it.
And the link I got from Richard is good document. But that not enough for
me.
It´s should be perfect if there is a RedBook for just only TSM Select
statement. Who explain everything.

There is maybe a idea for everyone who write alot of books. A Select
statement bible. :-)

Richard Sims' reply was a very good one. If you need more information, the
only other thing I can think of is to start an admin command line session
and trap the output of the HELP SELECT command. This will give you the
syntax of TSM's SQL SELECT statement.

Additionally, you can get documentation about the TSM SQL tables with these
commands:

Select * from tables
Select * from columns
Select * from enumtypes

Piece all these together and you have the bulk of the documentation for the
TSM SQL environment.
