How about upgrading your client code? Really, you shouldn't put much time in
debugging errors you encounter while using base level coding.
Try upgrading to 4.2.3 before investigating this further. A short scan
through the IBM support site revealed at least two APARS concerning this
error: IC32379 and IC32797.
